The job is still going very well. I couldn't ask for a better boss! I was truely fortunate to have been put in the right place at the right time. I have been there for 2 months now and I think it will be a great fit. Let's hope they make me an offer I will be happy (and afford) to take. Of course, with the unemployment numbers still so high, and jobs still scare, any offer is a good one!
I cashed in the 401K (ouchies) but I bought another Jeep and paid of the charge cards... so I guess it was worth it.

The Navy boy is out in the Pacific, stationed in Japan and deployed on a Destroyer. I think he's lovin it. I just saw on the Navy's Facebook page that they ported in South Korea. Haven't heard if he's had a chance to go into port or not.
He loves Japan and the people. I can sense he's already thinking about making Japan home. I told him that's fine as long as he sends his Momma a plane ticket to visit at least once a year :D
Maybe I should get a passport now, just in case.
